Giovanna Ubillus is a deliberative and insightful leader who excels at approaching challenges with design and strategic thinking. With over 15 years of experience in management consulting, Giovanna is a trusted advisor with a proven track record of accelerating innovative transformation and managing complex programs. In her current role as Operations Director, she oversees delivery across all U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and supports delivery within our Department of Justice sector.
Prior to Steampunk, Giovanna sharpened her expertise at major consulting firms such as Booz Allen Hamilton, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Guidehouse. Her diverse portfolio includes leading large-scale organizational transformation within the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of State. Whether it’s collaborating with cognitive behavioral scientists to assess the effectiveness of instilling Army values or understanding user needs to enhance complex systems, Giovanna excels at leading cross-functional teams. She is laser focused on quality and her clients’ mission, connecting organizational effectiveness to business outcomes, while fostering a growth mindset to enhance individual and team performance.
Giovanna holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. She lives in Maryland with her husband, two kids, and their giant Sheepadoodle.
