Marketing Operations Manager

Melissa Woodling is a seasoned marketing professional with a talent for company event coordination and cultural leadership. Melissa joined Steampunk in September of 2020 as the Recruitment Marketing Manager and has since transitioned to the role of Marketing Operations Manager. Melissa supports both internal and external marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance Steampunk’s overall brand presence, plans and executes Steampunk corporate and leadership events, helps to drive and foster the Steampunk culture and co-leads the Steampunk Summer Intern Program.

Melissa is an active champion for open communication and team collaboration focused on creating environments were employees feel valued and motivated. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for people Melissa is dedicated to making a meaningful impact both inside and outside of the organization.

Prior to joining Steampunk Melissa worked at SAIC and Leidos where she had roles in Human Resources, Internal Redeployment and supported the company’s intern program.

Melissa studied Communications at George Mason University and in her free time is passionate about staying active, enjoying outdoor activities and loves spending quality time with family, friends, and her golden retriever Bentley.
